Make plenty of room in your car’s trunk for treasures
you’ll find throughout Central Nebraska’s annual Junk Jaunt, Sept. 26-28.

Hundreds of homes in three dozen towns along the Loup River and Sandhills Journeys Scenic Byways will participate in what event organizers call a “300-plus-mile yard sale.” Along the way, you’ll find sellers of antiques, vintage items, collectibles, and more.

It is recommended to plan your trip well ahead of time, and to that end, organizers offer a shopper guide, which includes street maps showing restaurants and lodging, vendor addresses, and historical information about the area. Organizers say the event acts as a solid boost to many local economies.

You can order the Junk Jaunt Shoppers Guide for $13 at www.junkjaunt.com.
