Greenwood celebrating America’s 250th with outdoor markets

The shops that make up Greenwood’s Antique District are gearing up to mark the country’s 250th anniversary with special events.

The Celebrate USA Outdoor Market gathers them all in the sunshine to not only herald the country’s big birthday, but also to say “hello” to summer and the upcoming Father’s Day. That market will take place June 13. For more information, call the Greenwood Vintage Market at 816-537-7172.

The Vintage Vault on Main will host its event, Americana 250: Antiques on the Pavilion, June 12-13, in the sunshine as well. While the antiques for sale might not be as old as the country itself, treat yourself to some fine American craftsmanship in items that have been built to last.
