Save the date for the next What Cheer flea market

Who couldn’t use even more sunny cheer this fall? For that, the What Cheer Flea Market has you covered.

The famous flea market will take place Oct.1-4 on the Keokuk County Fairgrounds in What Cheer. As always, the market will feature vendors selling antiques, military memorabilia, collectibles, old tools, primitives, postcards, glassware, stamps, coins, jewelry, furniture, baseball cards, and more.

For shoppers, organizers offer a list of tips to make the most of their visit, including:

Bring a bag, wagon, or cart for your purchases
Bring sunscreen, wear a hat and stay hydrated
Pets are welcome, but clean up after them; also, they must remain on a leash
Bring cash or plan to use the ATM at Gate 1.

Browse more than 300 booths at Bella Rustina in Rogers this September

Rogers will once again host the Bella Rustina Modern Vintage Market, Sept. 11-12 inside the Convention Center in Rogers.
More than 300 booths will be set up inside the venue, selling both vintage and vintage-inspired items, as well as handmade treasures. Multiple food trucks will also be on site to feed hungry shoppers.

Sellers and buyers ready to descend on tiny town for flea market

It’s flea market time in the tiny town of Sparks, which boasts a population of only nine, according to the website for the Sparks Antiques and Collectibles Flea Market.

Its population will soar to more than 75,000 for both 2026 shows. This year, the fall show is set for Sept. 3-6. The market will include more than 500 vendors selling antiques, vintage finds, collectibles, toys, furniture, home décor, and more. The town is located about 30 miles west of St. Joseph, MO.

Sun, sidewalk sales, and summertime at Jesse James and Rusty Chandelier

Jesse James Antique Mall and The Rusty Chandelier in St. Joseph will bring their bargains outdoors when they host their Sidewalk Sale on Aug. 21-23. Wares from more than 280 dealers will be sold both outdoors at the event and inside in both stores.

In addition, the stores’ Parking Lot Flea Market will take place on Aug. 22.
