Save the date for the next What Cheer flea market

Who couldn’t use even more sunny cheer this fall? For that, the What Cheer Flea Market has you covered.

The famous flea market will take place Oct.1-4 on the Keokuk County Fairgrounds in What Cheer. As always, the market will feature vendors selling antiques, military memorabilia, collectibles, old tools, primitives, postcards, glassware, stamps, coins, jewelry, furniture, baseball cards, and more.

For shoppers, organizers offer a list of tips to make the most of their visit, including:

• Bring a bag, wagon, or cart for your purchases
• Bring sunscreen, wear a hat and stay hydrated
• Pets are welcome, but clean up after them; also, they must remain on a leash
• Bring cash or plan to use the ATM at Gate 1.
